December 2023 announcement:
Our colleagues at the National Centre for Creative Health have launched both the Creative Health Review, and a brand-new Creative Health Toolkit. Together with the Creative Health Quality Framework this gives us a great grounding for 2024.
The Creative Health Review - a collaboration between the National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH) and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing (APPG AHW) was launched on 6 December 2023.
The Review highlights the potential for creative health to help tackle pressing issues in health and social care and more widely, including health inequalities and the additional challenges we face as we recover from Covid-19. The Review has gathered evidence that shows the benefits of creative health in relation to major current challenges, and examples of where this is already working in practice.
The Creative Health Toolkit is designed to support Integrated Care Systems to embed creative health. It is a collaboration between the National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH) and NHS England Personalised Care Team and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in Gloucestershire; Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin; Suffolk and North East Essex; and West Yorkshire.
