What have you been doing today?

Preparation for a morning at Warrington Museum, telling Ancient Greek myths; Pandora and Midas along with Theseus and the Minotaur

Pandora will be interactive with the school group suggesting what the ‘Ills of the World’ might be.

Is that a typical day for you?

Pretty much a typical day, looking forward and rehearsing the stories, making sure they are time-appropriate, humorous and fit the theme. Some are in my repertoire already and some need to be worked up from scratch.

When did you start working with culture, health and wellbeing, and how?

I have been offering Free Storytelling sessions in hospices for a number of years and recently heard about Culture, Health and Wellbeing.

What was the last project you came across that inspired you?

Each year the Society for Storytelling runs National Storytelling week in February.

My fellow Storyteller and I went into Manchester Children’s hospital to tell stories and were inspired by the courage of the children and dedication of the staff.
