In January 2018, Perspectivesin Public Health published a Special Issue on Arts, Health & Wellbeing focusing on the content of presentations from the Culture, Health & Wellbeing International Conference held in Bristol in June, 2017.
A Special Issue is now proposed for September 2020 called Creative Health Through the Age Span, with a special interest in creative and arts-based interventions that promote the health of specific age groups.
The editors "would like to encourage submissions from diverse disciplines that help to define the field of practice and its relationship with the emerging evidence-base. Importantly, we welcome contributions that consider translation of theory to practice and policy development and any article that helps with preventing mental ill-health."
