In our state of the sector survey last year, 67% of you said that you would like more training to support your work in creative health.

We know there is good quality training out there, but until now, training offers in the sector have been scattered and hard to find.

You have also consistently told us is that marketing is a persistent challenge for everyone working in the sector, including those who are offering training.

Thanks to support from the Baring Foundation, CHWA is now launching a new training hub, to make it much easier to find what’s out there and to advertise your own training.

The training hub is for all training relevant to creative health practitioners, whether it’s free or not.

You can find the hub here: https://www.culturehealthandwellbeing.org.uk/training

CHWA is already used by many organisations to disseminate information, but this is largely ad hoc and relies on existing relationships, which may be reinforcing established networks rather than creating a space where new organisations feel able to share their training information. It may take a little while for this to bed in, so please do spread the word about this hub and get in touch with us if you think we need to change how the information is presented.

We have tested it with colleagues over the last few weeks but there are bound to be things we’ve missed and we’ll do our best either to make any changes you need (or seek additional funding to help us do that)!

Once this database has been up and running for a while we will be able to analyse what’s out there, and where the gaps are. We will share this with you, and it should help us all build responsive training offers for the sector.
